my sunrise
she’s movin faster than the dawn
the sun aint yet begun to warm
her floral form but she’ll soon be gone
so
hurry up
wake me up
can never take it slow/
hold me down
push me up
she’s always in control/
show me where
tell me how
the light didn’t kiss u right
i’m still half asleep
been gone all night/
sly quiet eyes give way to sighs
as the morning light wanes
my god it’s not even nine oclock
but my baby won’t let me stop
til she hears her name
so
hurry up
wake me up
can never take it slow/
hold me down
push me up
always in control/
show me where
tell me how
the light didn’t kiss you right/
I’m still half asleep
but I don’t mind

Short, lyric-centric rock; simple, grungy, bluesy, groovy, pop-y, and fun. I realize the songs have a punky attitude and are about drugs, and all that, but I almost want to call these songs “cute,” in their own way.
I just wish there wasn’t a *POP*ing sound at 1:40 of “Drive the Needle.” That’s always distracting. DoujinShinji
